About Island Mechanical
Island Mechanical Corporation is a general contractor specializing in pipeline construction, fabrication and directional drilling. We have been serving Hawaii for over 25 years, and the larger Pacific region for 10 years, using our expertise to help build the Pacific's utility and fueling infrastructure. IMC’s longevity and comprehensive portfolio is a testament to our commitment to quality and service. Our customers are confident in our ability and knowledge to complete any task safely and efficiently.
In 1993, IMC began as a small welding company, servicing local refineries and terminals throughout Hawaii.
IMC added horizontal directional drilling (HDD) services in 1996 to better serve Hawaii’s expanding utility network, including telecommunications, gas, electric, sewer and water utilities. In doing so, IMC grew to become Hawaii’s premier HDD contractor.
IMC became part of the Quanta Services family in 2005. This transition gave IMC the opportunity to establish a presence throughout the Pacific region, including Guam, Saipan, Wake, and Kwajalein.
IMC’s mission is to provide our customers with an outstanding product every time we step onto a jobsite. This is accomplished through a focus on safety, integrity, and perseverance on all projects regardless of size and complexity.
IMC’s vision is to be the best welders and directional drillers in the entire Pacific region. We are a diligent group who remain dedicated to mastering our craft.
For IMC, adhering to strong values is at the core of our business. We believe in the emphasis on safety and ethics as the foundation of all work we do. Our desire for every employee to return home safely drives the company to enforce safe and honest work practices.
